It has been a while since Jaguar launched the E-Pace into the air and set a new world record. Now their configuration page is operational and customers can start building their dream mid-size SUV.

Depending on your location trim offerings may vary with North America getting the Ingenium 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, producing 246 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque or 296 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. No matter which version, all of them will be paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

The Europe models will be available in front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, with both diesel or gas powerplants. They also get to choose between a manual or automatic transmission as well.

Moving past engine selection, we're prompted to select a specification package, which offers upgraded features and to which further options can also be added. Such features can include a set of LED headlights with Jaguar's signature DRL, approach lights with an eye-catching Jaguar and cub design, Meridian sound system, leather seats, driver assistance systems and more. One can easily spend quite a bit of time customizing their own E-Pace with all the options on offer.

One configuration option that doesn't seem to change is the paint, or at least what Jaguar will offer for free. Only Fuji White comes at no additional cost with every other paint color coming in at a premium.

The build combinations are numerous, so feel free to post your planning process or final E-Pace here.

There's really not much reason for me to go for the First Edition, so the E-Pace R-Dynamic is a more likely candidate and it comes with auto-dimming, power fold, heated door mirrors with approach lights. something I find a necessity when it gets cold.

Sounds like they should hurry up and offer an SVR model, maybe that will be the bit of extra you need to see when configuring an E-Pace? :)

Can't see Jaguar coming out with an SVR model when there isn't one for the F-Pace. I'll need to test drive the E-Pace first, but I don't see myself needing what the First Edition has to offer, which seems to be mostly styling changes.

I like to think that if Porsche can do it with success then there's no reason why Jaguar can't, so far they are proving that what they want to offer and what they want from the market. Even the Jaguar XE is getting a super high performance model, but well beyond what the E-Pace would ever be.
