First suggestion would be to factory reset the infotainment system. If that doesn't make any difference than you can try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. Does the radio cut out while in use or it on start up where its chooses not to work?
My E-Pace has exactly the same problem. Started today. Suddenly no audio from the radio. No matter what I do, I cant get it to work at all. If I try to change the channel, the radio keeps immediately changing the channel back to a certain local radio station and no audio.. WTH!!?:mad:
Sounds like it might actually be a software glitch then. I'd suggest taking it into to the shop to see if there is any sort of update that can be done on the system.
I just received the newest update to the entertainment system, v 4.0. Let´s hope this will help to the problems I have had with the radio, speed sign recognition system and the reverse camera.

I have got exactly the same problems involving frozen Radio, reverse camera, as well as speed sign recognition. Unfortunetaly they were not solved by the 4.0 Software update. Have you got any suggstions? Kind regards.

For me this new software update seems to fixed out the issues with the reverse camera and the radio. But there is still A LOT to do with the speed sign recognition system. It is totally useless.
I wonder if the speed sign recognition system is a fault with the software or with the cameras themselves. Should probably mention the issue to dealers so Jaguar is aware of the issue with future updates. You'd think since sign recognition is a feature in other models like the XE and F Pace, that this problem would have been addressed in their latest model.
These systems need to be self learning because there are so many dynamics to what we see without own eyes, I can only imagine what its like for programming that into a system that works off sensors and commands.
I just had this same problem today. I let the car rest turned off and then an hour later the sound came back on. Going to take it back to the dealership since I've only had it 2 weeks with problems.
