Just wanted to make a list of how the E-Pace compares to key rivals in the segment in regards to base price and fuel economy. While many have said that the E-Pace is priced a bit too closely to its larger sibling, its still fairly comparable to what else we see in this segment.

Audi Q3 2.0T Premium Plus Quattro: $36,000
BMW X1 xDrive 28i: $35,900

Land Rover Range Rover Evoque: $41,400
Mercedes GLA 250 4Matic: $35,400
Volvo XC40 T5 AWD Momentum: $35,200

Fuel economy
Jaguar E-Pace P250 AWD: 21 mpg city/28 highway/24 combined.
Audi Q3 2.0T Premium Plus Quattro: 20/28/23.
BMW X1 xDrive 28i: 22/31/25.
Infiniti QX30 Premium AWD: 21/30/25.
Land Rover Range Rover Evoque: 22/29/25.

I think a lot of the EPace's shortcomings are due to its smaller size. At its current price point, its competing with vehicles that are a whole class larger. Utility has been sacrificed here in an effort to focus on more sporty driving mechanics. Similar approach to BMW's new X2.
I still have a hard time seeing why brands like Infiniti still try to push so hard on price when in reality they shouldn't and instead under cut the more higher tier brands.
The main issue you're going to run into with an Infiniti is depreciation. It really doesn't make any sense to buy any of their brand new models when you can save thousands by going with a previously owned model instead.

Infiniti is losing big time to Lexus. Innovation to be had with any new Lexus product is unlike anything from its once Japanese rival brands. Add to that the great resale value they still have today.
