Hey guys,

New to the forum, and I just wanted to say hello. I'm currently on the search for a new compact SUV and the E Pace seems to check all the boxes. I've never owned a Jaguar SUV before, but I've been very impressed by what I've seen out of the F-Pace and E-Pace. In the process of weighing out my options, I've stumbled upon this forum and glad that I did. Anyone on here have it on order already? Excited to learn more.

Welcome to the forum! Haven't been able to locate one with everything I want in the E-Pace so I'm just biding my time right now.
Have you configured your E-Pace yet?
Odds are you won't be able to order one but you might be able to get on a waiting list at your local dealer. As you can imagine when order books open there will be a mad rush of people placing orders on these.

How soon do you plan on getting one, right from launch?
Im having difficulty as well finding one with the options that I'm looking for. I think we might have to wait a bit to get the exact build options we might have in mind. I don't think I'm going to get one as soon as it launches, as I've grown skeptical of getting the first generation of any brand of car. Think I'll wait for a bit to see the consumer response to the E-Pace and that will aid in my decision.

Good call on waiting it out because that could very well save you at lot of trouble. Although there's a good amount of information online about what Jaguar build quality is like I think you should try seeing some in person if you haven't already because that will speak directly to what you're happy with in a luxury car. Maybe the build quality you see in person is good enough to you?
I mean for build quality, I doubt there is anything aesthetic that would really turn me off, from the pictures I've seen it doesn't vary too far from what's to be excepted in a Jaguar. While some might find the interior lacking, I'm pretty fond of its clean simplicity. With how many variants are now available for the LR, they are soon to be competing with Jeep for number of crossovers.

Its going to be tough for you to suggest that right now given the fact when it comes out some similar car maker like Porsche might have design you favor more than what the E-Pace will have.
Jaguar is still new and at the same time are still finding themselves, meanwhile Porsche has the process down.
