What problems have you been experiencing with the E-Pace? Here's what owners have been reporting so far:

Engine Transmission Alert
"Hi
My Engine Transmission Alert came on a few days ago and hasn't gone off yet. I hear its sometimes due to an emissions issue. Therefore I:
Open and closed my gas cap...didn't work
Filled up tank...didn't work
Anyone else with this issue."

Engine Loses Power
"I am actually scared to drive my E-Pace. The engine loses power (both on the freeway and in the city) and no matter how hard I tried to accelerate, the engine would not go over 30-35 mph. This is frightening, especially when on a 5-lane freeway. Jaguar's response, "take it to the dealer, have them ride with you and see if you can replicate the problem." The dealer stated they already aware of the problem and Jaguar is testing a "software patch," so why would I risk my life trying to replicated a problem that they know exists? My E-Pace is literally parked and is only driven when a second vehicle is not available. A horrible vehicle!"

Other Issues
"Other issues: I found a loose bolt in the inner door pocket Apple CarPlay crashes ALOT Touch unlock on the outer door doesn't work all the item. Front 12V Power on the dash does not power off with the vehicle Trunk is really tiny - cannot fit 5 bags of groceries."

surprised with the software issues

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who is experiencing issues.... and many at that. I have had a couple of software updates to now and still have issues even though they don't seem to be quite as annoying or frequent. However, I would like to show in a graph most of the issues that I have been dealing with! Here are the issues noted in the graph that represents the number of documented occurrences, there have been a few undocumented.
mp3, navigation, satellite radio, prox sensors, FOB, ambient, turn signal, backup, rattle, seat position, loss eng pwr, cruise, fuel smell, low coolant.
I really am not happy with the efforts put forth with the Jaguar team to resolve their software issues. I think they have dropped the ball on this and are going to lose many customers in the end!

Let's see... I've had the car since March, 2019 and I've had quite a few problems - some more serious, and others that I can live with:

The Serious:
- Cracked heat shield (replaced)
- Unit that receives data signal not working (replaced)

The "I can live with":
- Upon acceleration, I hear something to the left rear of the vehicle, it almost sounds like something rolling (I'll check for random, lose bolts as one user mentioned above!)
- Unresponsive locking/unlocking - not resolved with software updates; I've had to dig my key out from the nether regions of my purse on several occasions
- InControl system response is sloooow - it seems like I select something and it takes forever to load

But I still love the car and would consider buying another in the future. I've had similar issues with other cars (Audi, Volvo) but what sets the current vehicle apart from the others is the dealership. They've been excellent to work with and repaired the first two issues as quickly as possible.

I had one issue in my first year. It had to do with SOS not available. I got it in and serviced without an issue. Other than that no other problems. That was my FY20 E-Pace. That has been traded in for a build spot for a FY22 model. I was happy enough to trade in for another one.

Any issue I've had (2020 model) has been electrical/computer related. A Jaguar tradition. Still love it.

1. Nav screen goes blank (self corrects after stopping and restarting)
2. Rear hatch sometimes opens by itself
3. Rear hatch sometimes refuses to open
4. "Power gesture tailgate" feature usually doesn't work at all (paid extra for it)
5. Audio source frequently changes for no reason. Usually after restarting, sometimes while driving

I purchased a 2019 EPACE and also found the navigation, sound system and Apple car play glitchy. I bought an extended warranty and would greatly appreciate any other common problems and/or preventative maintenance tips

Different issues: I observed a free bolt in the inward entryway pocket Apple CarPlay crashes ALOT Touch open on the external entryway doesn't work all the thing. Front 12V Power on the scramble doesn't control off with the vehicle Trunk is truly small - can't fit 5 packs of food.
