Adaptive Suspension owners questions

Trying on here as it seems this option is unheard of in the U.K.
been trying to confirm the following
Without the additional configurable Dynamics pack it works in auto mode . Meaning it can firm up suspension when it likes even in comfort mode, and will automatically firm up in dynamic mode.
In comfort mode it is no softer than standard passive suspension .

Basically only worth it if you want a more dynamic ride not more comfortable?

Cheers

One review (and there are others) aren't exactly in favor of the adaptive setup as you will see here:

When we first drove the Jaguar E-Pace, we felt that it was fun, but could be better still with adaptive suspension. This would take the edge off its firm ride; it seems Jaguar agrees, because the E-Pace can now be ordered with Adaptive Dynamics variable dampers.

The triple-tube dampers add intelligence to the ride. Body movements are monitored every 2 milliseconds, and damping force recalculated every 10 milliseconds. Jaguar says it improves control and lessens body roll, but also takes the edge off rough road surfaces. It even improves off-road prowess.

We think they'll be a must-have for the E-Pace. Jaguar has yet to confirm a price, but Adaptive Dynamics on the F-Pace costs around £1,000.

You say 'aren't in favour' ?

I take their statement of "we felt that it was fun, but could be better still with adaptive suspension" as not in favor especially considering that Jaguar is late to the game with SUV's like this. This review was just on the E-Pace alone. If it was a comparison you probably see more criticism. I'm a hard critic ;)
