Don't know when you'd ever get to utilize this capability with regular driving, but I suppose there are those who may be interested in its off road performance. Don't know how comfortable I would be having a new vehicle on those kinds of angles.
I see it as measurement of how durable and capable it is. Its like when you know how well a car performs in the 0-60, 0-100, slalom, and so on. A friend of mine bought an Evoque because he saw how well it performed in similar situations. Driving in the city can do a lot of damage but not so much when you have an overbuilt and capable system.
