Someone got close to the E-Pace while it was unguarded and took two spy shots of the interior. really can't see much with all the hanging wires and dash covers.
Not that hard but also something that doesn't peg high in the priority list.
If I'm not mistaken though, I believe Genesis was working on an app and smart-key system that essentially saved all of your driver settings so that when you got in with the key, it all adjusted back to your saved settings and HVAC settings.
Maybe when the day comes that we can start our cars with our phones but as long as keys are around, memory keys are the way to go, rather not confuse the process any more.
Range Rover is bringing it to their models so I'm pretty sure Jaguar will be on the receiving end of it soon enough.
Memory keys are going to be the most user friendly though, but I'm pretty on board with the app thing. My phone almost never leaves my hand, except for when I'm driving of course.
I may be one of those who wears a tin foil hat, but I'm skeptical when it comes to accessing cars with apps. Better to just stick with a memory key that't set to my specifications. NOt really a problem with me even if the E-Pace is not offered with one.
Its a matter of education and when you look at how the industry has developed in those areas, its not that bad. Plus its getting to a point that APPs are almost necessary for a fluid experience with your new car of choice and the smart devices you keep. So that's something to consider.
You're definitely not the only one. But I'm not like that.. I embrace all of this new tech when it makes everything a lot more convenient for me. My phone being something that's always in my hands, the more I can control from it, the easier my life essentially is.
